MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRT, NTT, GAMES TEACHER, DRAWING TEACHER, SPECIAL EDUCATOR, HELPER AND WATCHMAN

 AIR FORCE SCHOOL HAKIMPET: ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-26


MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRT

(PRIMARY TEACHER - CONTRACTUAL)

1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized board.

                                                                         Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized board.

Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized board.

Or

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from any NCTE recognized institution along with six months Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE.

2. Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled.

3. Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation upto a maximum of five years.

4. Ex-servicemen candidates who have put in not less than six months of continuous service in the Army, Navy or the Air Force shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years, they shall be deemed to have satisfied the condition regarding age limit. Such ex-servicemen candidates, if selected for the post, will also retire from the School as per rules of the Society.

5. Candidates with at least two years continuous service as a PGT/TGT or three years as a PRT/NTT in any Air Force School but presently not working in an Air Force School, will be given age relaxation upto the extent of such service rendered in Air Force School.

6. Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

7. Desirable Qualifications (Due weightage to be given during selection)

7.1. Knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office.

7.2. Ability to read/write/communicate in Hindi.

7.3. CTET/STET qualified candidates will be given additional weightage during selection.

 

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS FOR NURSERY TRAINED TEACHER

(NTT - CONTRACTUAL)  

1. Senior Secondary with Nursery Teachers Training diploma or diploma in Nursery/Montessori/Pre-Primary Teachers Training or Diploma in Elementary Education from a Govt recognised institution. While candidates with higher qualifications may apply, preference is to be given to candidates with diploma in Nursery/Montessori Training.

2. Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled.

3. Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation upto a maximum of five years.

4. Ex-servicemen candidates who have put in not less than six months of continuous service in the Army, Navy or the Air Force shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years, they shall be deemed to have satisfied the condition regarding age limit. Such ex-servicemen candidates, if selected for the post, will also retire from the School as per rules of the Society.

7.3. Experience in art, craft, cartoon, caricature, puppet making, music, dance etc.

 


MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS FOR GAMES TEACHER (CONTRACTUAL) 

1. Senior Secondary or Graduation with at least 50% marks from a Govt recognised institution.

2. Degree in Physical Education or its equivalent from any Govt recognised institution.

3. Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled.

4. Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation upto a maximum of five years.

5. Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

 

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS FOR DRAWING TEACHER (CONTRACTUAL)  

1. Diploma in Drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Art from any Govt recognised institution.

                                                                        Or

Four years Diploma in Fine Arts and Crafts from Viswa Bharati, Shanti Niketan

Or

Diploma in Fine Arts from Govt. School of Arts and Crafts, Patna

Or

M.A. in Drawing and Painting from Agra University, Agra

Or

Degree/ Diploma in Fine Arts from Regional Colleges of Education 

2. Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled.

3. Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation upto a maximum of five years.

4. Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

  

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATOR (CONTRACTUAL)  

1. 12th passed and two year D.Ed.Special Education in any of the category of disability

                                                                     Or

12th passed and one year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of disability.

                                                                     Or
 Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.

                                                                     Or
 Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 6 months Certificate c ourse in Education of Children with Special Needs

                                                                     Or
 Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.

                                                                     Or

Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf

                                                                    Or

Primary level Teacher Training course in Visual Impairment

                                                                    Or

Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation-Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment -Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs

                                                         Or

Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS)with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs

                                                         Or

12th passed with any RCI recognized qualification of minimum one year duration and 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs

                                                        Or

Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI 

2. Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled.

3. Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation upto a maximum of five years.

4. Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

 

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS FOR HELPER (SWEEPER) AND WATCHMAN 

1. No educational qualifications are laid down. However, candidates should be selected keeping in view suitability for trade duties.

2. Should be in the age group of 21 to 40 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled.

3. Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation upto a maximum of five years.

4. Ex-servicemen candidates who have put in not less than six months of continuous service in the Army, Navy or the Air Force shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years, they shall be deemed to have satisfied the condition regarding age limit. Such ex-servicemen candidates, if selected for the post, will also retire from the School as per rules of the Society.
